2024 8x10 Acrylic Pour Painting
Dandelions
2022 3.5"x5" Pour Painting
Cove with Boat
This tiny project was the product of left over pour paint from a larger project.
When I saw the pattern the paint had made, I immediately salvaged the drippings, let it dry and added the little sailboat. The illusion of paint and perspective gives me the feel of looking over a high bluff down to a cool beach on a hot summer day.

2022 5"x9" Pour Painting
A Lightning Storm in Space
If you know it, you know it.
If you don't then here's the inside joke.
This pour painting was inspired by a scene from the Star Trek reboot. Pinch and zoom to see the Enterprise. And yes, I did have to use a magnifying glass to paint the ship.

Ruark -Kinser Acrylic on PVC 02/04/2022
This project started out as a PVC cut out of a Steve Kinser car. After some quick research online, we found an image that looked exactly like the angle of the cut out. This was a 29-hour project. The sketch took 4 1/2 hours to get the perspective right. I quicky realized I was also at the mercy of another artist. The person who did the cut out, had problems to work out on his own, which made for a lot of guess work and clever work arounds to get the illusion of depth, while getting everything in its proper place.  But it was the most fun I'd had in a long time. I can fully attest to the fact that painting on PVC is tricky business, even after sanding the surface before I started. It took many, many, many coats to get the desired effect of light on shiny metal.
End result, happy.

2020 Abstract Acrylic on Canvas 18x24
A black and white study of texture and movement embellished with gold.
I see a cold storm on the water. What do you see?

Koi Pond 08/17/19
String, and air blown painting.

16x 20 Acrylic
"Blue Chair and Coffee"

11x14 Nursery Painting

"Winkin, Blinkin, and Nod"
2008 20x24 acrylic on canvas
Based on an old nursery rhyme book. I made several changes to the original illustration so that it would be more my own, but I still need to credit the book, "Deans Mother Goose Book of Rhymes" published by Playmore Inc. The book was so old and worn, pages torn out, that, that is all the info I have on the book.
