Martha (Fry) See
This is my great grandmother. Photo taken around 1923-24.
At this point, the photo should never be taken out of the frame. It appears to be adhered to the glass in a few places. I believe if it were to be removed the original photo would be seriously damaged.
HOW DO YOU SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? Perspective tools in photo editing! Glass is reflective. Take a picture of a photo behind glass, you see your own reflection. Tilt the frame, no reflection, but the image is skewered.
ENTER PERSPECTIVE ADJUSTMENTS! I used editing tools to alter the perspective in order to restore the image to normal perspective. Then more editors to adjust the contrast, shadow, light, highlights, and cropping. Afterwards, I used the retouch tool to edit out scratches, spots and a few reflections on the bottom of the photo. Now, this photo can be shared with everyone in the family.
