In order to convey the ideas of each element, I wrote a story for it.
Coming Home is a dream.
The elements seem real and yet not.
You feel like you're home.
But nothing is in the right place at the right time,
just like a dream.
Coming Home is a memory.
Everyone waits for dad to come home.
Mom keeps everyone together and safe.
While the future sits by,
waiting to take the stage.
Coming Home is a feeling.
A house the way it used to be a long time ago.
And yet, not so long ago.
With a sign to remind us
of all we did along the way.
Coming Home is hope.
There's the four of us
huddled around the house.
Where the fireplace is lit to warm us
on a crisp autumn morning.
Hurry,
set the table.
There's a cloud of dust in the drive.
Looks like someone
is Coming Home.
